Greenwich Adult and Continuing Education News and Events Spring 2025

This section of our website includes any new Adult and Continuing Education news and events. 

Spring 2025

There will be in-person ESL, ABE, and GED classes this Spring.  Classes will begin on January 6, 2024.  In-person English/Spanish GED classes will begin on January 7, 2025.  Online Citizenship classes will start on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. 

Registration will be held by appointment only at 9:30 a.m. at Havemeyer Building, 290 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich or at 6:00 p.m at Greenwich High School.   To register, email braulio_santiago@greenwich.k12.ct.us.    

ESL classes are held in-person on Mondays and Wednesdays at Havemeyer Building, 290 Greenwich Ave, Greenwich,  from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and on Mondays and Wednesdays at Greenwich High School, 10 Hillside Road from  6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  We also have ESL classes at Hamilton Avenue School on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Citizenship are held on-line.  GED classes are held at Greenwich High School on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. We also offer ESL classes at Town Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  

Continuing Education Enrichment Classes are held in the evenings, in-person, at Greenwich High School and at First Congregational Church.  In the Spring we will offer online classes as well.  Please view our Spring Catalog at www.greenwichace.com

Registration for Spring Enrichment Classes will begin on January 6, 2025.  Register early. You may register online at greenwichace.com or call the Adult Education Office at 203-625-7400.

  • Announcements (school delays, closings, early dismissals, open house dates, etc.
  • Board and board committee meetings, agendas, and minutes
  • GPS annual goals and reports on their indicators of success
  • Policies and regulations
  • Curriculum objectives
  • Survey results
  • Calendars (school, board of education, etc.)

Watch Educational Access Channel 78 for:

  • Monthly board meetings
  • High school programs and events
  • Distinguished Teachers Awards ceremony
  • Community Service Awards ceremony

Attend Board of Education for:

  • Current policies under review
  • Current curriculum under review
  • Annual budget presentation
  • Facilities projects
  • Reports and updates on programs, assessments and research (such as GHS Long Range Planning, Middle School Survey Follow Up, Standardized Testing Results, etc.)
